Workshop on study skills was organized on 4^th October, 2014. This workshop was held at Dr. Deshpande Hospital, near Kothla Stand. There were 30 students and teachers for this workshop. The workshop was organized for students of Meher English School, Ahmednagar.

In this workshop students were made aware of what exactly meant by study. Why do we require study skills? How exams should be faced?

The workshop was interactive. Students were given activities for time management, schedule planning and goal setting. Once they were made aware of time they have and about their priorities the focus was shifted towards how to use that time effectively for studies.

Effective study techniques, such as, effective reading techniques, notes making, notes taking, preparation for examination and relaxation techniques were taught to students. Students and teachers were quite satisfied. Students were interactive and consulted for more techniques. This proves their interest and involvement during workshop. Teachers were satisfied about this

The workshop on Life Skills was held on 10^th October 2014 at Bal Sudhar Gruha(Remand Home), Ahmednagar. There were 50 students for this workshop. Issues these children face are very different from children the students who attend city schools. The guidance they require was especially for confidence building, social skills, communication skills, ethics and norms of society.  Considering this fact, they were provided with confidence building techniques, communication skills and also about time management. Students and staff members were satisfied and gave positive feedback. 

Lectures on study skills were organized at Avinash Classes, Ahmednagar and Kulkarni Classes, Ahmednagar. There were around 100 students for these lectures. Students were given guidance on study skills techniques, methods such as SQ3R, PQRST were taught to children. They were also taught few relaxation techniques. We receive a positive feedback from both the classes. They said, " it was very informative and valuable."

Lecture on soft skills was delivered at Pemraj Sarda college, Ahmednagar.  Students were taught soft skills which required for job, they were taught confidence building techniques, assertiveness building techniques, anger management, interview preparation, communication skills during this lecture. The response given by them was positive; they reported that it was very valuable for them.

Workshop on Study Skills development was organized for parents and teachers at Ravsaheb Patawardhan Smarak, Ahmednagar. In this workshop a range of topics covered was from developments of study habits in children to how to score good marks in exams. Feedback given from parents & children was positive. They were impressed and wanted to know more about the topic. In this lecture, issues of learning disabled students were also focused. The question-answer session after this workshop was very effective. The queries asked by parents were different and were answered by psychologist. The response given by them was positive; they reported that it was very useful for them.

Lecture on study skills was organized at G.J. Chitamber Highschool, Ahmednagar.  This lecture was especially for students of standard 9^th. In this lecture, students were taught about time management, reading techniques, notes making and examination techniques. Girls from this school were very much co-operative. The response given by them was positive; they reported that it was very beneficial for them.

Though we have received positive feedback, we are looking forward to arrange a workshop where we actually teach application of the techniques. We are also planning to organize a workshop on confidence building and interview preparation.
